A Child Called It

“Childhood should be carefree, playing in the sun; not living a nightmare in the darkness of the soul.” A Child Called It

This quote really touched me because it really gave me a kind of insight to how the kids were feeling at that time and I could not imagine having to think like that because I know that personally my childhood was pretty great I was very blessed with a good child but for these poor kids I could never fathom what they are going through. It really helped me to connect with the character and really understand the book and have a deeper understanding.
